This involves, preparation and submission of documentations required to facilitate export or imports into the India, representing the importers/exporters during customs examination, assessment, payment of duty and ensuring delivery of cargo from customs after clearance along with the supporting documents.   • Guidance for preparing import and export related documents as per customs compliance
  • Technical and Legal assistance in respect of the Product classification by Chartered Accountants / Lawyers on board of the Company. More particularly, as a complimentary service, we do a high level due diligence and review of existing classification of entire product line of our new clients
  • Preparation of the Checklist basis the documents / information received at the time of booking / shipment. This involves the confirmation/suggestions of the applicable Notifications / duty concessions on individual products along with correct classification of the products
  • On receiving approval on the Checklist from the client, Bill of Entry is prepared and filed with the Customs Authorities. Special attention is paid to ensure that all the particulars of the Bill of Entry is correctly entered / filed to avoid any difficulty at the assessment stage
  • Different products are liable for varied Product Certification such as BIS, FSSAI, P&Q, EPR, WPC, NFIMS, SIMS Registration, Chip Import Registration etc. Our endeavor has always been to intimate the client at the time of preparation of Checklist itself the product certifications required for the imported product. Further, our assistance extends in obtaining the applicable product certifications from the relevant authority
  • With the introduction of the Faceless System, all the objections or queries related to shipment is raised by the authorities in faceless mode. This requires a CHA to be a tech savvy, in order to understand and revert to objections
  • At various instances, the Custom Authorities directs a particular shipment for physical examination. We accompany the authorities as well client for the such physical examinations to assist or reply to concerns raised by the authorities in relation to the shipment
  • Once the authorities are satisfied about the classification, valuation of the product and applicable certifications are placed before the authorities, an Out of charge order is issued for clearance of the goods. Basis the Out of Charge order, delivery of the goods and can be obtained from the Customs for further dispatch to the Clients premises or Bonded Warehouse, as applicable
  • Often the goods are cleared and required to be dispatched to a location other than Clients premises/factory. The said additional premises may either be a Custom Bonded Warehouse or Private Warehouse registered under the MOOWR Scheme or SEZ Location or Transhipment to any other port in India. The said clearances entail incidental compliances. We assist our clients in clearance to all or any of the such options including the provisional clearance of the shipment
